Maurice Vellas is an interdisciplinary artist working in the fields of painting and drawing, photography, and film with an interest in continually merging streams and growing connections in the art realm and beyond. A background, which includes studies in anthropology, informs a desire for deepening the understanding of  both the particularities and universalities of the human condition and the stories and echoes embedded in human and non-human spaces.
